Cicada Puppet Theatre is very pleased to begin its programme “City as Home and Giant Playground”, which project is realized as part of the Széchenyi 2020 programme. The theatre is putting up an arts tender in which it asks 4-to-12-year-old children what home means to them. With artists commissioned at the beginning of 2022, an interactive exhibition is organised from the tender applications, through which an innovative city profile is laid before us, since the creators of the exhibition will all be the children of Veszprém themselves. Furthermore, with the help of the tender applications, a performance is going to be staged for the smallest spectators.

Within the framework of infrastructural investments, the expansion of playing spaces and the acquisition of a mobile stage also belong to our tender, with the help of which we can really turn the city of Veszprém into a giant playground.
